I have been really insterested by the ( clear and gripping )articles of SqlExpress poster about LocalDB on the SQL Server Express WebLog . Now i would test this feature which seems greater than the user instances, but i need also the If the document is correct, maybe ( if it is possible ), please , is it possible for the SQL Server Express Team to include LocalDB in the SQL Server Express Maybe this document is missing to indicate that the Advanced Services is including LOCALDB. The product traces its roots to the Microsoft Database. It comprises a database specifically targeted for embedded and smaller-scale applications. With Advanced Services would be the correct edition, but i don't see LocalDb as feature installed by this edition ( if i have correctly understood this document, it exists an edition ( the 3rd one ) including the database engine,SSMSE, LocalDB, but not full-textĭoes it mean that there is no real full edition ( the last one could be good but i would have to do a separatet install for LocalDB ) ? It would seem that it is not existing a "full" edition including the Database Engine, SQL Server Management Studio Express, full-text search, filestream support, Reporting Dervices and LocalDb. I am planning to install SQL Server Express 2012 ( ex-Denali ) on a Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit ) , but i am surprised by this document :
